Qualificações

Barista / Bakery Attendant Location: Harbour Town Bakery | The Sea Pines Resort

Position Summary

Harbour Town Bakery is seeking a friendly, energetic, and guest-focused Barista / Bakery Attendant to join our team. This role is responsible for preparing and serving specialty coffee beverages, providing exceptional guest service, and supporting bakery operations to ensure a seamless guest experience. During periods of high business volume, this position also assists as a food runner and bakery attendant, helping deliver products, maintain displays, and support overall operational efficiency.

Essential Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve coffee, espresso-based beverages, teas, and other specialty drinks according to established recipes and quality standards.
• Deliver exceptional guest service by greeting guests, answering questions, and creating a welcoming atmosphere.
• Accurately process guest orders and handle cash and credit card transactions.
• Assist with the presentation, stocking, packaging, and sale of bakery items and grab-and-go offerings.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of beverage stations, bakery displays, dining areas, and workspaces.
• Restock inventory, supplies, and ingredients throughout the shift.
• During peak business periods, assist as a food runner by delivering food and beverage orders promptly and accurately.
• Support bakery operations by ensuring product displays remain attractive, stocked, and guest-ready.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health standards.
• Assist with opening, closing, and other operational duties as assigned.
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient service and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Previous barista, café, bakery, food service, or hospitality experience preferred.
• Passion for providing exceptional guest service.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to safely lift and carry up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Flexible availability, including mornings, weekends, holidays, and peak resort seasons.
• Dependable, team-oriented, and self-motivated with a positive attitude.
