Job summary

Dimension Hospitality Group is seeking a Coffee Shop Attendant (Barista) to craft high-quality coffee, beverages, and light food items for hotel guests and locals. You’ll create an inviting cafe atmosphere, deliver friendly service, and uphold brand standards during morning shifts.

The role emphasizes accurate order taking, cash handling, and collaboration with the team to ensure a smooth start to each day. Flexible scheduling and growth within hospitality are offered.

Qualifications

• Barista or cafe experience preferred.
• Knowledge of espresso machines is a plus.
• Friendly, positive guest-focused attitude.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while staying organized.
• Attention to detail and consistency in drink preparation.
• Dependable and punctual.
• Willingness to work mornings, weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve specialty coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and other beverages.
• Greet guests warmly and provide friendly, attentive service.
• Accurately take orders, process payments, and handle cash or POS transactions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee shop, including equipment and displays.
• Stock and replenish coffee, food items, and supplies.
• Follow recipes, presentation standards, and food safety guidelines.
• Answer guest questions about menu items and make recommendations.
• Work collaboratively with team members to support smooth daily operations.
• Uphold hotel service standards and brand expectations.
• Assist with opening and/or closing duties as assigned.
