Job summary

Traveler's Tea Company, located inside Picklehall's food hall, is hiring baristas to craft coffee, espresso and tea beverages, juice drinks, shakes, and desserts. You will welcome guests, take orders, and prep items using app-based systems while maintaining a clean, organized station.

The role requires friendliness, strong communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting. Prior cafe experience and 16+ years age are preferred.

Qualifications

• Friendly, welcoming, and positive approach to guest service.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask and work with speed and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience using point-of-sale or app-based ordering systems.
• Prior coffee shop, barista, food service, or related experience.
• At least 16 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Craft coffee, espresso drinks, teas, juices, shakes, desserts, pastries, ice cream, and other menu items.
• Provide a friendly, welcoming, and helpful guest experience.
• Take orders directly from guests and prepare orders from app-based systems.
• Help guests understand the menu, ordering process, and available options.
• Keep the workstation, equipment, food stall, and service area clean, stocked, and organized.
• Track inventory needs and communicate supply needs.
• Support food hall safety, cleanliness, and service standards.
• Document and report incidents, accidents, injuries, or safety concerns.
