Job summary

O.H.S.O. Brewery & Distillery in Phoenix, AZ is seeking friendly baristas who love coffee and guest engagement. You will prepare coffee, espresso drinks, teas, cocktails, and serve beer and wine while delivering a welcoming guest experience.

We value upbeat personalities who can handle busy shifts, maintain quality, follow alcohol-service rules, and work collaboratively with the team. Training and benefits are provided for eligible full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Previous barista experience preferred.
• Knowledge of coffee, espresso beverages and basic brewing.
• Basic knowledge of cocktails, beer and wine.
• Must be at least 19 years old to serve alcohol in Arizona.
• Friendly, outgoing personality with strong guest-service skills.
• Ability to multitask and stay composed in a fast-paced environment.
• Dependable, punctual and a team player.
• Availability for mornings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to stand and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with a friendly, energetic attitude.
• Take orders accurately and make beverage recommendations.
• Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, teas, cocktails, beer and wine.
• Operate espresso machines, grinders, beer taps and other equipment.
• Follow recipes and standards for consistent quality.
• Stay informed about beverages, specials and menu items.
• Check IDs and follow alcohol-service rules.
• Handle cash, card transactions accurately.
• Keep coffee and bar stations clean and stocked.
• Sanitize equipment and work areas regularly.
• Manage multiple orders with speed and accuracy.
• Assist with opening, closing and restocking tasks.
• Follow food-safety and alcohol-service procedures.
• Create a fun, welcoming guest experience.
