Job summary

PJ’s Coffee in Texas is seeking a barista who can craft beverages and deliver a friendly, efficient experience to every customer. You will help maintain a clean, welcoming store environment and represent the PJ’s brand with professionalism.

Barista experience is welcome but not required; you will be trained in PJ’s ways and have the chance to grow into larger roles through ongoing training, teamwork, and local store recognition.

Qualifications

• Barista experience is welcome but not required; training will be provided.
• Outgoing, engaging personality with a customer-focused mindset.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities

• Present a positive image of PJ’s customers and coworkers.
• Proactively suggest new beverages, drinks, snacks, and pastries.
• Prepare all beverages and food to PJ’s specifications and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure the store offers excellent service and maintains cleanliness.
• Follow cash handling procedures accurately.
• Maintain store sanitation, safety, and aesthetics with daily checklists.
• Alert management to operational needs and equipment issues.
• Attend trainings to improve coffee knowledge and skills.
