Job summary

The Buttery in Malvern, PA is seeking a Barista who brings care and craft to our beverage program and makes every guest feel welcome. You’ll prepare coffee and tea to our standards, engage with guests, and support a clean, organized bar while restocking supplies.

This role emphasizes hospitality, teamwork, learning, and helping train new teammates as we expand. Prior high-volume coffee experience is preferred, with training offered for the right attitude and eagerness to learn.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in high-volume coffee preferred, but we’re open to training the right candidate with a great attitude and eagerness to learn.
• Background in customer service within food, beverage, or retail settings is a plus.
• Strong time management, communication, and attention to detail, with the ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for hospitality and a team-first mindset, with a genuine love for great food, drink, and creating welcoming guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve beverages to The Buttery’s standards while providing efficient, friendly service to every guest.
• Support day-to-day operations by maintaining a clean, organized bar area and restocking supplies and retail displays as needed.
• Uphold health, safety, and quality standards in collaboration with the Lead Barista, ensuring consistency in beverage execution.
• Contribute to a positive team culture by fostering respect, communication, and collaboration across the front-of-house team.
• Continue learning and growing through product education and by helping train new team members on service, culture, and procedures.
