Job Summary

Summary: Prepare and serve coffee/espresso drinks and related food and beverage items. Handle food according to HACCP guidelines and standards for quality food-service operations. Interact with customers and staff in a friendly, courteous manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare espresso orders using standard measures and recipes.
• Accurately enter orders into POS; accept cash and card payments.
• Replenish condiments, beverages, and supplies; maintain cleanliness of the service area.
• Ensure proper presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures following HACCP standards.
• Maintain sanitation of equipment, supplies, and utensils.
• Prepare food using approved recipes and standards.
• Keep display equipment clean and free of debris during service.
• Clean equipment and workstation thoroughly after use.
• Greet customers courteously, ensuring satisfaction and relaying concerns to supervisors.
• Serve customers efficiently, preventing delays.
• Understand and explain menu items accurately.
• Assist in selling techniques and customer decision-making.
• Ensure attractive merchandising of display foods and serve food neatly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
