Job Details

1. Location: Car Gurus - 1001 Boylston Street, Cambridge, MA 02142. Note: online applications accepted only.
2. Schedule: Full time; Monday to Friday, 6:30 am to 3:00 pm. More details upon interview.
3. Requirement: Prior barista and pantry stocker experience preferred.
4. Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour.
5. Additional: Internal Employee Referral Bonus Available.

Job Summary

Makes and serves coffee/espresso drinks and related food and beverage items. Handles food according to HACCP standards. Interacts courteously with customers and staff.

Responsibilities

1. Prepare espresso and other drinks using standard recipes.
2. Accurately enter orders into POS; accept payments.
3. Replenish supplies and maintain cleanliness.
4. Ensure proper presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures.
5. Maintain sanitation of equipment and work area.
6. Follow recipes and standards for food prep.
7. Greet customers courteously, relay concerns, and ensure satisfaction.
8. Serve food attractively and efficiently.
9. Understand and explain menu items.
10. Assist in selling techniques and merchandise display.
11. Perform other duties as assigned.
