Job Title: Barista

We are hiring immediately for a full-time BARISTA position.

Location: Bausch Health - 400 Somerset Corp Boulevard, Bridgewater, NJ 08807. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Full-time; Monday through Thursday 6:30 am to 3:30 pm, and Friday 7:00 am to 12:30 pm. More details provided upon interview.

Requirements: Prior barista experience preferred but not required.

Perks: Willing to train, meals and uniforms included! Internal Employee Referral Bonus available.

Pay Range: $17.00 to $17.50 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Prepare and serve coffee/espresso drinks and related food and beverage items. Follow HACCP guidelines for food safety. Interact courteously with customers and staff.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Prepare espresso orders using standard measures and recipes.
2. Enter orders accurately into POS; accept payments.
3. Replenish condiments, beverages, and supplies; maintain cleanliness.
4. Ensure proper presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures per HACCP standards.
5. Maintain sanitation of equipment and work area.
6. Follow approved recipes and standards for food preparation.
7. Keep display equipment clean and orderly.
8. Clean equipment and workstation thoroughly after shifts.
9. Greet and interact courteously with customers, relay concerns to supervisors.
10. Serve efficiently, prevent delays, and explain menu items accurately.
11. Promote sales through effective communication and merchandising.
12. Ensure attractive presentation of display foods.
13. Perform additional duties as assigned.
