We are hiring immediately for a full-time Barista position at Applied Materials, located at 9700 East Highway 290, Austin, TX 78724. Online applications are accepted only.

Job Summary

Summary: Prepare and serve coffee/espresso drinks and related food and beverage items, following HACCP guidelines. Interact with customers and colleagues courteously.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare espresso orders using standard measures and recipes.
• Enter orders accurately into POS, accept payments.
• Replenish supplies, maintain cleanliness.
• Ensure proper presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures.
• Maintain sanitation of equipment and work area.
• Follow recipes and standards for food preparation.
• Keep display equipment clean and attractive.
• Clean equipment and workstation thoroughly.
• Greet customers courteously, address concerns.
• Serve efficiently, avoid delays.
• Understand menu items, explain to customers.
• Assist in selling techniques, communicate effectively.
• Merchandise display foods attractively.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
