Morrison Living is hiring immediately for full-time and part-time WAITER/WAITRESS positions.

Job Details

• Location: Four Seasons - 1901 Taylor Road, Columbus, IN 47203. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full-time and part-time schedules, Monday through Friday, including every other weekend.
• Requirement: One year of previous waiter/waitress experience preferred but not required.
• Pay Range: $16.00 to $19.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Takes food and beverage orders and efficiently delivers items to dining room guests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Promptly and warmly greet guests; take food and beverage orders following established service steps.
• Deliver food promptly and professionally, maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards. Follow up to assist with additional needs.
• Understand menu items and ingredients; advise guests on food and drink pairings; accommodate requests; be knowledgeable about diets and allergens.
• Communicate with back-of-the-house staff to ensure correct order delivery and requests are met.
• Exhibit excellent communication skills; remain flexible and patient with guests and staff.
• Collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests.
• Handle sensitive personal or medical information confidentially.
• Address complaints or issues promptly; relay information to supervisors.
• Ensure the dining area is properly set up and maintained sanitation standards.
• Operate equipment like fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea/soda machines, soup wells, and coffee machines.
• Collaborate with other departments during special events.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
