Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a Barista to deliver high-quality beverages and exceptional service at the Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Hospital location. You will greet guests, craft coffee and tea drinks, and contribute to a fast, friendly dining experience.

The role requires standing for long periods, maintaining sanitation standards, and handling cash during busy shifts. Flexible scheduling and opportunities for training are provided as part of a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum customer service experience is required.
• Knowledge of food preparation, sanitation, and inventory controls is preferred.
• Starbucks Baristas certification may be required at some locations.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a friendly, quick, and personalized approach.
• Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages to customer specifications.
• Maintain clean and inviting coffee bar and dining areas.
• Educate guests on menu offerings and upsell items.
• Handle cash, operate the register, and follow cash-handling procedures.
• Ensure shift duties include inventory checks and restocking as needed.
