Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a Barista I at LEHIGH VALLEY HOSPITAL - MUHLENBERG. The role requires providing exceptional customer service while preparing hand-crafted beverages, with varying shifts and a part-time schedule.

You will greet guests, prepare coffee and tea beverages, maintain the coffee bar, and assist with order accuracy and efficient service during shifts. Prior food service or barista experience is valued.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Customer Service related work experience.
• Knowledge of food preparation, sanitation, standards, and inventory control systems.

Responsibilities

• Greets all guests and provides quick, friendly, and personalized service.
• Mixes and serves hot and cold beverages such as coffee, espresso, cappuccino, café latte, tea, chai, fruit blends, etc., per customer specs.
• Maintains good customer relations and speedy delivery of beverages and food items.
• Educates guests regarding menu offerings and initiates suggestive selling.
• Arranges coffee bar supplies and displays; cleans machines and preparation areas.
• Records sales, handles cash, and follows cash-handling procedures.
