Job summary

Methodist Hospital is seeking a Barista to join our patient-care team. You will provide friendly, efficient beverage service to colleagues, patients, visitors, and staff, operate the coffee shop POS, and maintain attractive product displays.

You will handle transactions, manage supplies, support inventory, and keep a clean, welcoming environment during a Monday–Friday schedule (40 hours/week, 5:30am–2:00pm). Minimum one year barista experience required; two+ preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of barista experience.
• Ability to work in a high-volume hospital coffee shop.
• Comfort with cash handling and POS transactions.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily customer-service and retail operations.
• Prepare specialty coffee beverages and maintain beverage quality.
• Operate POS and process transactions.
• Maintain displays, replenish supplies, and support inventory control.
