Job summary

Aramark is hiring full-time Baristas in the Los Angeles area. You will prepare specialty drinks, assist with food prep, and handle orders and payments while delivering memorable customer experiences.

You’ll operate POS, greet customers, prepare beverages, maintain cleanliness, and follow health and safety guidelines. Prior barista and cash handling experience are preferred, with Food Handling Certification as required.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Previous cash handling experience preferred.
• Previous barista experience preferred.
• Basic math and counting skills required.
• Able to read and communicate in English and follow recipes.
• Complete Food Handling Certification as required.

Responsibilities

• Operate register/POS and handle cash and card transactions.
• Greet and assist customers and anticipate needs.
• Prepare and serve coffees, teas, and beverages per brand standards.
• Prepare and serve food items per location standards.
• Balance cash drawer and deposits.
• Adhere to cash handling policies and procedures.
• Set up and break down coffee bar and stations; clean and sanitize.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work area.
• Stock beverage coolers, grab-and-go items, service ware and condiments.
• Follow health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
