Job summary

Aramark in the United States is hiring full-time Baristas to join our fast-paced team. You will prepare specialty drinks, assist with food preparation, and handle orders and payments while providing memorable experiences for customers.

The role emphasizes customer service, cash handling, and following brand standards. Prior barista experience is preferred, as is food handling certification; English literacy and the ability to work independently are expected.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Barista experience preferred.
• Basic math and counting skills required.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Must follow required dress code as assigned.
• Able to read and communicate in English and able to follow recipes.
• Complete Food Handling Certification as required.

Responsibilities

• Operate register/POS and handle cash and credit card transactions.
• Greet and assist customers while anticipating their needs.
• Prepare and serve coffees, teas, specialty beverages per brand standards.
• Prepares and serve food items in line with location standards.
• Count, organize and balance cash drawer, fill out the cashier slip and make deposits.
• Adheres to Aramark's cash handling policies and procedures.
• Set up and breakdown coffee bar, stations or store including cleaning and sanitizing.
• Maintain clean and sanitary work area.
• Stock beverage coolers, grab and go items, service ware and condiments.
• Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
