Job summary

Aramark in Los Angeles is seeking full-time Baristas to prepare specialty drinks, assist with food prep, and handle orders and payments with a focus on customer experience.

You will operate the register, greet customers, and maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment while following brand and safety standards. Benefits include comprehensive programs; location varies by site.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Previous cash handling experience preferred.
• Previous experience as a barista preferred.
• Basic math & counting skills required.
• Must be able to work independently with limited supervision.
• Must follow required dress code as assigned.
• Able to read and communicate in English and able to follow recipes.
• Complete Food Handling Certification as required.

Responsibilities

• Operate a register/POS and handle cash and credit card transactions.
• Greet and assist customers while anticipating their needs.
• Prepare and serve coffees, teas, and specialty beverages per brand standards.
• Prepare and serve food items in line with location standards.
• Balance cash drawer and deposits.
• Follow Aramark cash handling policies and procedures.
• Set up and breakdown coffee bar and store, including cleaning.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work area.
• Stock beverage coolers and condiments.
• Follow health and safety guidelines for all products.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
