Job summary

Aramark, serving Starbucks at Clemson University, is hiring full-time Baristas to join a fast-paced, social team. You will prepare specialty drinks, assist with food preparation, and receive orders and payments while delivering memorable experiences for customers.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Previous cash handling experience preferred.
• Previous experience as a barista preferred.
• Must be able to work independently with limited supervision.
• Able to read and communicate in English and follow recipes.
• Complete Food Handling Certification as required.

Responsibilities

• Accurately operate a register/POS and handle cash and credit card transactions.
• Greet and assist customers while anticipating their needs.
• Prepare and serve coffees, teas, specialty beverages per brand standards.
• Prepare and serve food items in line with location standards.
• Count, organize and balance cash drawer, fill out cashier slip and make deposits.
• Adheres to Aramark’s cash handling policies and procedures.
• Set up and breakdown coffee bar, stations or store including cleaning and sanitizing.
