Nep Cafe Irvine, part of Kei Concepts, is hiring a Barista to join our team in Irvine, CA. You will prepare high-quality beverages, provide friendly guest service, and keep a clean, organized bar area while maintaining a fast-paced service flow.

The ideal candidate is positive, detail-oriented, and passionate about crafting consistent drinks for every guest. Must have open availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays to support busy periods.

Qualifications

• Food Handler Card required (training provided)
• RBS certification required, if applicable
• 6 months to 1 year of barista/food/beverage/customer service experience preferred
• Ability to communicate with guests and team members effectively
• Basic math skills and ability to handle payments accurately
• Ability to operate a cash register or POS system
• Strong attention to detail and sanitation standards
• Able to stand for long periods
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

• Prepare coffee, beverages according to recipes
• Provide friendly and accurate service to guests
• Educate guests on beverage options and answer menu questions
• Maintain knowledge of the drink menu
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar area
• Follow sanitation and health standards
• Operate and maintain bar tools and equipment
• Report equipment issues to management
• Check and restock bar inventory
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment
• Assist with additional duties as assigned
