MIRANDA LOVARDO LLC in Ranson, WV, is seeking a friendly, outgoing Barista / Café Team Member to join a fast‑paced café. You will greet guests, prepare espresso drinks and gelato, and manage to-go orders. A positive attitude and willingness to pitch in where needed are essential to keep the guest experience exceptional.

Qualifications

• Previous barista experience is required (1-3 years).
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work well as part of a team.
• Familiarity with food safety guidelines.
• ServeSafe or Food Handler's Certification, or ability to obtain shortly after hiring.
• Willingness to learn and take on different responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with a smile and provide friendly, attentive service.
• Take food, beverage, and gelato orders.
• Explain menu items and answer customer questions.
• Prepare a variety of espresso-based drinks, coffee, and other beverages.
• Serve gelato and prepare gelato orders.
• Prepare and package food orders for dine-in and to-go.
• Enter orders into the POS system accurately and efficiently.
• Handle cash and credit card transactions when needed.
• Bus tables and keep customer areas clean and welcoming.
• Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, tables, and other areas as needed.
• Restock supplies and help maintain an organized shop.
• Follow food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Work together with the team to keep operations running smoothly.
• Be willing to jump in and help with whatever task is needed to support the team and our guests
