Job summary

Blue Bottle Coffee Inc. seeks a Barista who is passionate about coffee, food, and sustainable, inclusive hospitality. You will deliver exceptional guest experiences, craft beverages with diverse brewing methods, and help prepare delicious foods.

You will stay knowledgeable about current menu offerings and participate in in-house tastings and trainings to grow your craft. You will taste beverages regularly to ensure quality, uphold standards, and contribute to a welcoming cafe atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Existing Food Handler’s Certification required for the state you will be working in, or will obtain it within 30 days post-hire.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• A flexible schedule and are available to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional hospitality to guests, teammates, vendors and suppliers.
• Make and serve beverages using various brewing methods; prepare and serve food.
• Maintain knowledge of Blue Bottle beverage/food offerings and participate in tastings and trainings.
• Taste Blue Bottle beverages regularly to ensure quality and uphold standards.
• Create community in cafes by sharing coffee knowledge with guests and teammates.
• Support cafe operations by tasks such as cleaning, dishwashing, sweeping, and organizing stations.
