Job summary

Blue Bottle Coffee is seeking a Barista who is passionate about coffee, food, and sustainable hospitality. You will deliver exceptional guest experiences, prepare beverages with diverse methods, and contribute to community in our cafes.

You will stay knowledgeable about our offerings, participate in Blue Bottle Academy training, and complete a 90-day validation post-hire to ensure quality and growth within our team.

Qualifications

• Existing Food Handler’s Certification required for the state you will be working in, or will obtain it within 30 days post-hire.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• A flexible schedule and are available to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional hospitality to our guests, teammates, vendors and suppliers.
• Make and serve a selection of beverages with various brewing methods.
• Prepare and serve delicious food.
• Stay knowledgeable about Blue Bottle offerings and training through in-house tastings and cuppings.
• Taste our beverages regularly to uphold quality and standards.
• Create community in cafes by sharing coffee knowledge with guests and teammates.
• Support the cafe by handling tasks to keep operations running smoothly.
