Blue Bottle Coffee is seeking a Barista who is passionate about coffee, food, sustainability, and guest experiences grounded in care and respect. You will deliver hospitality, craft beverages, prepare food, and stay informed about offerings while training through in-house tastings and cuppings.

The role emphasizes learning, teamwork, and contributing to a sustainable cafe culture while meeting health and safety guidelines and shifting schedules.

Qualifications

• Existing Food Handler’s Certification required for the state you will be working in, or will obtain it within 30 days post-hire.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional hospitality to guests, teammates, and vendors.
• Make and serve a selection of beverages with various brewing methods.
• Prepare and serve delicious food.
• Stay knowledgeable about offerings and continue training through tastings and cuppings.
• Uphold health, food safety, and safety guidelines.
• Create community in cafes by sharing coffee knowledge with guests.
