Job summary

PJ's Coffee of Leander Hero Way is seeking a friendly Barista to craft beverages and food to PJ’s standards and deliver fast, warm service. You’ll engage with customers, learn the menu, and help maintain store cleanliness and operations.

Training is provided with opportunities for growth within PJ’s Coffee as you expand your barista skills and customer service excellence in a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

• Barista experience is helpful but training is provided.
• Outgoing and engaging personality.
• Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Present a positive image of PJ's to customers and coworkers.
• Proactively suggest new beverages and snacks to enhance the experience.
• Prepare all beverages and food to PJ’s specs and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure the store offers excellent customer service and clean operations.
• Follow cash handling procedures accurately.
• Maintain store sanitation, safety, and aesthetics with daily checklists.
• Alert management to operational needs, equipment issues, and improvements.
• Enforce company policies, procedures, and safety rules.
• Attend training sessions to grow coffee knowledge and skills.
