Job summary

Mainsail Lodging & Development is seeking an energetic Barista to deliver excellent guest experiences in our hotel outlet. You will greet guests, take orders, prepare beverages, and manage payments while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and brand compliance.

The role requires at least 2 years in beverages, flexibility for weekends/evenings, and strong beverage knowledge. You’ll work closely with staff to ensure superb service and menu knowledge.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of progressive experience in beverages/coffee shops.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings.
• Ability to communicate with guests, staff, management and leadership.
• Excellent knowledge of beverages.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous, professional, and efficient service following Marriott/Mainsail standards.
• Maintain appearance and dress code per hotel policy.
• Operate POS system and handle payments.
• Educate customers on beverages and brewing methods.
• Keep area clean, organized, and stocked.
• Report incidents to supervision and follow safety regulations.
