Job summary

The Seagate Hotel, Golf & Beach Club, Autograph Collection seeks a guest-focused Barista/Café Attendant to craft high-quality beverages and foods in a welcoming café. You will deliver outstanding hospitality, ensure efficient service, and maintain attention to detail to create memorable experiences for members and guests.

Responsibilities include welcoming guests, preparing beverages, handling transactions, stocking, and keeping areas clean and compliant with safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of customer service experience preferred.
• Knowledge of coffee, espresso preparation and specialty beverages preferred.
• Experience handling cash transactions and operating point-of-sale systems.
• Strong guest service skills with a passion for creating exceptional experiences.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Welcome members and guests with a warm, friendly demeanor.
• Prepare and serve coffee, espresso beverages, teas, smoothies and other drinks.
• Serve food items and grab-and-go offerings with proper presentation.
• Anticipate guest needs and provide personalized service.
• Process cash, credit card, and member charges using the POS system.
• Maintain cash drawers and follow cash-handling procedures.
• Stock and replenish beverage coolers, food displays, and cafe supplies.
• Set up, maintain, and clean coffee stations and service areas.
• Ensure cafe areas are clean, organized, sanitized, and stocked.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and health department guidelines.
• Communicate with team and leadership for smooth daily operations.
• Assist with opening, closing, and side work duties.
• Support team during busy periods and contribute to a collaborative environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
