Ascension Coffee is seeking a Barista to deliver exceptional coffee experiences at our Fort Worth cafes. You will develop skills in espresso, brewing, and latte art while upholding our standards of quality and hospitality.

This hourly position requires reliability, ability to work nights and weekends, and a passion for guest service. You will thrive in a fast-paced, team-focused environment and contribute to a welcoming atmosphere for all customers.

Qualifications

• Specialty coffee experience is a plus.
• Reliable transportation with the ability to travel between locations.
• Availability for nights and weekends.
• Strong leadership, team-building, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational abilities and resourcefulness.
• Self-motivated with a willingness to take direction.
• Ability to stand for extended periods (~8 hours per shift).

Responsibilities

• Skillfully prepare specialty coffee, tea, and liquor beverages to Ascension standards.
• Deliver exceptional hospitality, ensuring the highest level of guest service.
• Maintain and troubleshoot coffee equipment, resolving basic issues.
• Continuously expand knowledge in specialty coffee, tea, alcohol, and hospitality.
• Receive and apply feedback effectively, demonstrating adaptability.
• Build strong interpersonal connections with team members of all skill levels.
• Communicate clearly and effectively to inspire and align teams.
• Foster an inclusive, high-quality café culture through thoughtful interactions.
