Job summary

ZMC Hotels in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking a Bistro Attendant to deliver guest orders, answer menu questions, and assist with basic beverage preparation.

You will maintain cleanliness, assist with banquet set-ups, and help with dining area upkeep; we value initiative, attentiveness, and physical stamina. This is a full-time hospitality role with benefits and opportunities to grow within our team.

Responsibilities

• Take, enter, prepare, and deliver guest orders according to standards.
• Answer questions about menu items, specials, and prices; handle dietary/allergy needs.
• Brew coffee and prepare drinks per recipes.
• Dispose of garbage, pick up trays, restock dishes, and clear/wipe down tables and counters.
• Set up, maintain, and take down banquet areas as needed.

• Responsible for answering all questions about menu items, specials, and prices. Familiar with preparation methods and ingredients to meet guest’s dietary/allergy questions.
• Brews coffee and prepares coffee/other drinks according to the specific recipes
• Responsible for disposal of garbage, picking up trays, re-stocking dishes on the line, and clearing/wiping down tables and counter.
• This position also may be responsible for the set-up, maintenance, and take down of banquet areas according to function specifications.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
