Job summary

The Galt House Hotel is seeking a barista for Thelmas Deli who greets guests with an infectious smile and delivers exceptional service in a professional, upbeat atmosphere.

You will prepare coffee and tea to quality standards, handle cash and card payments, operate kitchen equipment safely, respond to questions, and stay informed about menu offerings while upholding health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Prior customer service experience in a food & beverage setting.
• Previous cashier experience required.
• Previous kitchen back line food preparation experience is required.
• Familiar with operating kitchen equipment such as a baking oven & electric knife.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Strong knowledge of the various types of coffee is required.
• Previous barista experience is required.
