The Galt House Hotel is seeking a Barista for Thelma's Deli with a focus on friendly guest service and efficient order handling. The role requires cash handling, knowledge of coffee varieties, and prior barista experience in a food & beverage setting.

Ideal candidates will maintain a professional appearance, work well in a team, and uphold health and safety standards in a busy hotel deli environment in Louisville, KY.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Prior customer service experience in a food & beverage setting.
• Previous cashier experience is required.
• Previous kitchen back line food preparation experience is required.
• Familiar with operating kitchen equipment such as a baking oven and electric knife.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Strong knowledge of the various types of coffee.
• Previous barista experience is required.
