Job summary

Spire Hospitality, LLC is seeking a Barista to deliver exceptional guest experiences in our hotel coffee shop. You will craft beverages, handle payments, and ensure a welcoming atmosphere from the moment guests arrive.

This role supports our Food & Beverage team with attention to cleanliness and efficiency. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of coffee shop experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid Food Handlers Certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year Coffee Shop Attendant experience.
• Food Handlers Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Offer guests unparalleled service with warmth and thoughtfulness.
• Prepare beverage orders, generate checks, and handle payments for each guest.
• Maintain daily organization of the coffee shop, ensuring products are accessible.

Essential Job Functions:

• Offer our guests unparalleled service with warmth and thoughtfulness
• Prepare beverage orders, generate checks, and handle payments efficiently for each guest
• Maintain daily organization of the coffee shop, ensuring all products are readily accessible
• Monitor inventory levels to prevent stock shortages
• Reduce spoilage and waste through efficient productivity methods
• Ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and optimal functionality of all refrigeration, storage, and work areas

Pay rate Per hour: $15- $15.92

Physical Demands:

• Ability to kneel, stoop, pull, grasp, lift and carry, and transport 50 – 75lbs.
• Ability to stand and walk in confined space for entire shift
• Manual dexterity to use and operate food and beverage equipment

Qualifications:

Education:

• High school diploma or its equivalent

Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year Coffee Shop Attendant in hotel preferred
• Minimum of 1 year Coffee Shop Attendant experience in a similar role, size of operation required
• Food Handlers Certification required
