Job summary

Vail Resorts, Inc. is hiring for a seasonal Barista position at our mountain resort. You’ll craft hot and cold beverages to guest specifications, deliver friendly service, and help create an unforgettable Experience of a Lifetime on the mountain.

Starting wage is $12.00 per hour plus tips, with a guaranteed minimum of $20/hour for tipped positions. Winter Seasonal 2026/2027, full-time hours may be available, and housing is provided. We value safety, teamwork, and guest joy in every shift.

Qualifications

• Fluent English required for guest interactions and teamwork.
• No formal experience required; on-the-job training provided.
• Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Responsibilities

• Make hot and cold beverages to specifications.
• Provide friendly service to guests and co-workers.
• Maintain clean, organized workstations before, during, and after shifts.
• Engage with guests to share our mountain experience and passion for the slopes.
• Follow daily pre-shift guidelines and safety protocols.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.

The expected pay range is $12.00/hr + Tips. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
