Job summary

Vail Resorts is seeking team members for Winter Seasonal 2026/2027 at its mountain locations. Starting wage is $20/hr with full-time and part-time shifts, and housing is not provided.

Roles span food and beverage, guest services, and operations, with a focus on delivering an Experience of a Lifetime. Applicants must be able to work weekends and holidays, be at least 14 years old, and communicate in English.

Qualifications

• No formal experience needed; we will teach you the basics to perform safely.
• Desire to learn and grow in a dynamic mountain resort environment.
• Must be able to communicate fluently in English.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods; lift up to 40 lbs.
• Work a varied schedule including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Make connections with guests and co-workers.
• Share our passion for the mountains during service.
• Follow the leadership guidelines as outlined during the daily pre-shift meeting.
• Set beverage stations and food displays, cashier, greet guests and bus tables.
• Maintain clean and tidy workstations throughout and at the end of the workday.
• Other duties as assigned.

A Restaurant Crew team member is a flexible employee who often works across multiple departments and in various roles to support the one resort mentality which could include one of the following:

• Mountain Activities

• Retail Rental operations

• Food and Beverage Support

• Ticket sales or scanning

• Lift Operations

• Base Area Operations

The expected pay range is $20/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
