Job summary

Metz Culinary Management is expanding and seeking energetic Baristas to craft handmade coffee and tea beverages in a busy college setting in Hershey, PA. The role emphasizes guest service, beverage preparation, and team collaboration.

Candidates must have prior barista experience, knowledge of brewing equipment, and a Serv Safe certification or willingness to obtain one. Daily Pay is an optional benefit, with opportunities for growth and cross-training across departments.

Qualifications

• Previous barista experience required.
• Knowledge of brewing equipment operations.
• Serv Safe Certification is required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, stock, and maintain your station throughout the day.
• Greet guests and determine coffee interests and needs.
• Educate guests by presenting the coffee menu and answering questions.
• Prepare and serve coffee drinks, pastries, and light items following recipes.
• Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment and adhere to regulations.
• Operate cash register with accurate cash handling and payments.
• Work as a team, train new staff, and cross-train in other departments.
• Complete weekly inventory and order lists.
• Perform other tasks as directed by the Operations Manager.

Metz Culinary Management is growing, and we have openings for Rock Star Baristas that have a passion for making hand crafted hot and cold coffee & tea beverages.We are seeking energetic team players with a winning attitude that deliver exceptional customer service to all guests in a fun and busy college setting.

Requirements:

• Previous Barista experience required
• Knowledge of how brewing equipment operates.
• SERV Safe Certification
• Ability to bend, twist, squat, reach, crawl, push/pull, and stand without limitation and for long periods of time
• Ability to carry 50lbs on a consistent basis
• Reading, writing, oral proficiency, and basic math skills

Responsibilities:

• This position is responsible for preparing, stocking, and maintaining your station continuously throughout the day
• Greets guests determining their coffee interests and needs
• Educates guests by presenting and explaining the coffee drink menu and answering questions
• Preparing and serving a variety of coffee drinks following prescribed recipes and preparation techniques along with serving pastries, sandwiches, and other food items
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following organization standards and sanitation regulations
• Use of cash register, accurate cash handling and payment processing
• Work as a team with others, train new team members, and cross train in other departments
• Complete weekly inventory and order list
• Clean and maintain all equipment continuouslyPerform any other tasks as requested by Operations Manager
