Job summary

Sofive, the home of 5-a-side soccer, seeks a talented Barista to join our Sofive Soccer Centers in Columbia, MD. In this part-time role, you’ll prepare and serve high-quality beverages, deliver friendly service, and keep a clean, organized work area in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications include prior barista or F&B experience, strong coffee knowledge, excellent communication, and flexibility for weekends/holidays. High school diploma required.

• Basic knowledge of coffee roasting, brewing techniques, and beverage preparation.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

• Team player with a positive, energetic attitude.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and deliver exceptional customer service
• Take and process beverage and snack orders accurately
• Prepare a wide range of coffee and tea beverages to customer specifications
• Ensure all food and beverage items meet quality, consistency, and timeliness standards
• Maintain and clean coffee equipment (espresso machines, grinders, blenders) regularly
• Restock supplies and inventory as needed throughout the shift
• Keep all areas—workstations, kitchen, and dining areas—clean and organized
• Adhere to all company policies, health and safety regulations, and service protocols
