Job summary

Omni Atlanta Hotel at Centennial Park is seeking a friendly barista to serve guests at Centennial Grounds Coffee and Stance Coffee. You will upsell beverages and pastries, process transactions accurately and provide excellent service to all guests in a fast-paced, luxury hotel environment.

The role requires flexible availability (weekends/holidays) and at least one year of customer service experience; barista experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Flexible availability including weekends and holidays.
• At least 1 year of customer service experience.
• Barista experience preferred.
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30lbs.
• TIPS certified and Food Handler certified are required.

Job Description

The candidate will attend to guests in Centennial Grounds Coffee /Stance Coffee. The candidate will up sell beverages, pastries and other selections, accurately process transactions, and provide excellent service to all guests.

Responsibilities

• Serving guests in Centennial Grounds Coffee/ Gift shop and Stance Coffee
• Answering guest questions about menu items.
• Brewing gourmet coffee and other specialty beverages.
• Up-selling and suggestive selling of items.
• Accurately processing transactions and maintaining a balanced bank.

Qualifications

• Must have a flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, AM and PM shifts.
• Must have at least one year of customer service experience.
• Previous Barista experience preferred.
• Must be able to bend, push, pull and stand for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to lift at least 30lbs.
• Must be TIPS certified and Food Handler Certified.
