Job summary

Trinity Health Of New England in Hartford, CT is seeking a full-time Dietitian Nutritionist to provide evidence-based nutritional care in a fast-paced surgical bariatrics specialty practice. You will assess patients, design care plans, monitor outcomes, and collaborate with physicians and staff to optimize MNT delivery.

A Master’s degree in nutrition/dietetics and active CDR licensure are required, with one year of dietitian experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in food and nutrition, dietetics, or related field as required by CDR guidelines.
• CDR registration and state licensure as a licensed dietitian/nutritionist (LDN) required.
• One year of experience as a dietitian preferred.
• Allergen Awareness and Serv Safe certificates preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement patient-specific nutritional care plans.
• Communicate MNT guidelines to physicians and the health care team.
• Educate patients on food/drug interactions when appropriate.
• Document assessments, education, nutrition care plans and goals in the EMR.
