Job summary

Mt. Sinai Rehab Hospital, part of Trinity Health Of New England, in Hartford seeks a registered Dietitian to join the Nutrition Services team. You will assess nutritional status, design care plans, provide MNT instruction, and collaborate with physicians to optimize patient outcomes.

The ideal candidate holds a CDR-registered RD with state licensure and has 1 year of healthcare experience. A Master’s degree is preferred; Serv Safe/Allergen training optional.

Qualifications

• Requires Master’s degree in nutrition/dietetics or related field.
• CDR-registered RD with state licensure (LDN) required.
• Minimum 1 year of dietitian experience, preferably in healthcare.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform nutrition assessments per guidelines.
• Develop and implement patient-specific care plans and goals.
• Assess need for Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT).
• Provide MNT instruction for modified diets.
• Document assessments and plans in EMR.
• Collaborate with physicians and health-care team.
• Participate in rounds and training nutrition interns.
