Job summary

Mass General Brigham's Salem Hospital seeks an Outpatient Dietitian to manage comprehensive nutrition care for bariatric patients, including assessments, care planning, dietary modification, and education. The role supports preparing patients for surgery, helping establish sustainable nutrition habits, and guiding lifestyle changes within a multidisciplinary team.

The position is 20-28 hours per week with no weekend shifts; compensation will be prorated for part-time hours, and the role offers

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree Related Field of Study required or Master's Degree Related Field of Study required
• Completion of dietetic internship required
• Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) required
• CDCES preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a nutrition plan of care for patients based on assessments and clinical data
• Document nutrition-related information including therapy recommendations and care plans
• Counsel, educate, and develop resources to educate patients and families on therapeutic diets
• Collaborate with food service staff to ensure meals and nutrition support meet modified diets
