Emerson Health in Concord, MA seeks a Bariatric Dietitian to provide expert nutrition guidance to patients undergoing weight loss surgery. You will develop, implement and monitor individualized dietary plans, supporting health and weight management goals.

Reporting to the Program Manager, you will apply clinical nutrition knowledge, bariatric principles, and patient education to create actionable care plans and track progress. This is a per diem, day-shift role with 8:30am-5:00pm hours.

Competenze

Master’s degree in Nutrition preferred.
1–2 years of clinical nutrition experience preferred, bariatric/surgical population ideal.
Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration required; or registry-eligible with registration attained within 6 months of hire.

Mansioni

Conduct nutrition assessments for bariatric patients before and after surgery.
Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans.
Provide counseling to patients and families on dietary changes and healthy habits.
Monitor patient progress and adjust recommendations as needed.
Collaborate with bariatric surgeons, nurses and healthcare team for coordinated care.
Maintain accurate documentation in EMR.
