Job summary

Diesel Barbershop Franchising is seeking a friendly, organized coordinator to be the first contact for clients and ensure smooth daily operations. The role requires availability evenings and weekends in a busy, social barbershop environment.

You will greet clients, answer phones, schedule appointments, maintain a clean reception, and support barbers with administrative tasks while upholding health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a customer service role preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
• Proficient with computer systems and booking software.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome clients as they arrive at the barbershop.
• Answer phone calls and schedule appointments using our booking system.
• Provide information to clients regarding services, pricing, and availability.
• Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
• Sweep and tidy up the barbershop floor regularly.
• Fold and organize towels and other linens.
• Assist barbers with any administrative tasks as needed.
• Handle cash and process payments accurately.
• Manage inventory of retail products and restock as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
