Job summary

Life Time Inc. is seeking a LifeSpa-Barber to deliver hair services and grooming that elevate the guest experience at our Life Time club in Algonquin, IL. The role focuses on cutting, styling, and beard grooming while excluding chemical treatments such as coloring or perming.

You will educate clients on LifeSpa offerings, stay current with trends, maintain salon standards, and promote LifeTime products and services. Prior barber experience and a valid state license are required.

Qualifications

Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Provides individualized services that meet the clients’ needs and expectations
• Educates clients on LifeSpa and Salon products, services, and treatments to assist them in maintaining their style
• Serves as an expert in hair analysis, maintenance regimens while staying current in style and technique
• Promotes all LifeSpa and Salon products, services and treatments
• Remains current on certifications and new trends in the industry
• Maintains work stations to salon standards

Minimum Required Qualifications

Education:

• High School graduate or equivalent

Years of Experience:

• 1 to 3 years of experience as a barber
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest and commissions
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, climb and lift up to 50 pounds

Licenses / Certifications / Registrations:

• Barber license in state where work is performed

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience as a barber in a professional setting
• Knowledge in Salon Biz software
