Job summary

MAIN DUTIES:

AsBarback at WATR , you will be an extension of the bartender andassistin completing all beverageservice. You willfacilitatebeverage service by performing the following tasks according to standards of procedure.

GENERAL DUTIES:

• Assistbartenders in setting up and breaking down the bar area before and after service, including arranging bottles, glassware, and bar tools, and ensuring that all necessary supplies are readily available

• Stock and replenish bar inventory, including liquor, mixers, garnishes, and other supplies, to ensure that bartenders have everything they need to prepare drinks efficiently and accurately

• Prepare garnishes, such as citrus wedges, olives, and herbs, according to established recipes and standards, ensuring that they are fresh, attractive, and ready for use during service

• Monitor and manage the supply of ice, ensuring that ice bins are filled and ice machines are functioning properly, to support the efficient preparation and service of drinks

• Provide support to bartenders during service, including fetching and carrying items, clearing empty glasses and bottles, andassistingwith guest requests, to help ensure smooth and efficient operations

• Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications;properly storeflammable materials.

• Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and standards with self and colleagues.

• Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.

• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
