Job summary

Coury Hospitality is hiring a Temporary Barback for the Hard Rock Hotel San Diego, on-site for Halloween and New Year’s events. You’ll help keep the bar stocked and running smoothly, supporting bartenders and servers in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates bring prior bar/restaurant experience, strong teamwork, and stamina for evenings, weekends and holidays. This role emphasizes hustle, reliability, and effective communication as part of a legendary hospitality brand.

• Previous experience in a fast-paced bar or restaurant setting.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and team-first.
• Strong communication skills and physical stamina.

Responsibilities

• Restock bar supplies, ice, and glassware with urgency and accuracy

As a Barback, you're the driving force behind a smooth, fast-paced bar. You keep our bartenders armed, stocked, and ready to perform — making you an indispensable part of the front-of-house show.

Your Mission

You'll support bartenders and servers with prep, stocking, and organizing while maintaining a clean, energetic bar environment.

What You'll Do

• Restock bar supplies, ice, and glassware with urgency and accuracy

• Support bartenders with prep and breakdown
