Job summary

Ophelia Tavern & Bar Top at The Dale in Avondale Estates, GA is hiring Barbacks to keep a busy bar stocked, clean and ready for service. We value dependable, hardworking team players who can anticipate bartenders' needs and maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization.

You will support bartenders, assist with stocking and glassware, and help with bar prep and private events. Flexible evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events required; experience preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Previous barback or hospitality experience preferred.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach and use stairs during shifts.
• Lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation.
• Willingness to learn bar procedures and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Support bartenders by keeping supplies stocked and accessible.
• Replenish ice, glassware, beverages, mixers, napkins, straws and other bar supplies.
• Restock beer, wine, spirits and non-alcoholic beverages as directed.
• Assist with garnishes, juices, mixers and other ingredients per procedures.
• Wash, sanitize and organize glassware and bar tools.
• Complete opening, running and closing checklists.
• Work closely with bartenders, servers and managers to keep service running smoothly.
