Job summary

The Food Hall Co. is seeking skilled barbacks to join our team in Plano, TX. This vital support role assists bartenders, maintains a clean, stocked bar, and helps ensure smooth shift operations.

Candidates should have at least one year of restaurant/bar experience and be comfortable handling knives and bar prep tasks. English fluency is required; bilingual Spanish is a plus. Expect varied shifts, ability to stand for long periods, and adherence to safety and sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year restaurant and bar experience.
• Friendly, energetic and guest-focused demeanor.
• Ability to read and speak English; bilingual Spanish a plus.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift at least 50 pounds.
• Maintain Food Handler’s and State Alcohol Serving certifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist bartenders and ensure smooth shift operation.
• Keep bar clean, organized and well-stocked with liquor, beer, ice, wine, and glassware.
• Label, date, cover and refrigerate prepped items.
• Open/close duties and side work; rotate products for freshness.
• Greet guests, liaise with Management, and support coworker team.
