Qualifications
Ability to lift 20 lbs and stand for long periods.
Must have valid food handler’s card.
Must have valid TABC certification.
Meets legal minimum age to serve alcohol.
Knowledge of bar menu items and basic drink preparation.
Ability to lift heavy items and work nights, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities
Assist with opening and closing duties including restocking garnishes, towels, and glassware.
Maintain inventory of ice, liquor, wine, and beer.
Perform minor maintenance tasks such as changing kegs.
Keep the bar clean by wiping surfaces, sweeping, mopping, and emptying trash.
Memorize cocktail recipes and menu items.
Support bartenders with taking orders and preparing drinks.
Engage with customers and handle complaints.
Monitor stock usage and assist in reordering.
