Job summary

Cliquelv inLas Vegas seeks a barback/bar porter to support bartenders, maintain a clean, safe bar area, and ensure smooth operations during peak hours. You will follow standardized service procedures, assist in daily marketing tasks, and help build guest relationships to encourage repeat visits.

The role requires knowledge of spirits and wine, strong teamwork, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Multilingual candidates are a plus; English proficiency is essential.

Qualifications

• 2 years of barback/bar porter experience in a high-volume environment or 6 months in a fine dining establishment.
• Good communication skills; multilingual is a plus.
• Must be able to speak and read English proficiently.
• Experience with social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, etc. and active participant in social media
• Must have a working knowledge of Spirits, Wine and Food.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a high stress & high-volume environment.
• Ability to follow directions well, make quick decisions, and stay organized under pressure.
• Positive attitude, self motivated, energetic and a willing learner.
• Ability to perform a variety of duties with extreme care, concern and detail.
• Professionally groomed in a manner consistent with department grooming standards.
• Physically able to lift and carry heavy trays and equipment up to 50 lbs.
• Physically able to walk without assistance on various surfaces for an extended period of time.

Responsibilities

• Provides full prep support to Bartender and Bar Porters to ensure proper operation of the bar.
• Maintains a clean and safe working environment for efficient operation of the bar
• Follows the sequence of service as standardized by managers and chefs.
• Effectively communicates with management and service staff to fulfill guest needs.
• Works as a team and assists guests and employees.
• Greets guests in a positive, friendly manner and makes them feel welcome.
• Anticipates guests' needs and responds with urgency.
• Maintains professionalism to encourage guests to return.
• Bids farewell using guest name when known and encourages return visits.
• Builds personal clientele and encourages weekly table reservations.
• Adheres to weekly table and guest list requirements.
• Assists in developing restaurant database through networking and data cards.
• Participates in weekly marketing requirements.
• Performs opening and closing duties per shift.
• Follows all health and safety regulations set by County health department.
• Other duties as assigned
