Moose's Tooth/Bear Tooth/Broken Tooth in Anchorage, AK, seeks a dedicated Barback to support bartenders and keep the bar running smoothly. The role emphasizes cleanliness, stocking, and collaboration with the bartender to fulfill guest needs.

Availability on Friday and Saturday evenings (5-8pm) is required; prior serving or bartending experience is a plus but not mandatory. This is a fast-paced, guest-focused environment with strong team dynamics.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older with a current TAPS Card and Municipality of Anchorage Food Worker Card.
• Previous serving or bartending experience is preferred but not required.
• Must be available Friday and Saturday evenings (5-8pm).

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety, sanitation, and alcohol policies.
• Keep bar area clean and organized; wash glassware and wipe counters.
• Stock glassware, ice, pints, fruit, and liquor bottles; maintain side items.
• Help bartender greet guests and take food & drink orders.
• Ring in and serve orders to customers’ specifications; use POS systems.
• Assist the bartender in pouring beer, wine, and growlers as needed.
• Know menus and specials; complete opening, closing, and side duties.
• Work as a team with coworkers and treat each other with kindness and respect.
