Responsibilities

• Keep bar area clean and organized; wash glassware and wipe counters.
• Stock glassware, ice, pints, fruit, and liquor bottles; maintain side items.
• Help bartender greet guests and take food & drink orders.
• Ring in and serve orders to customers’ specifications; use POS systems.
• Assist the bartender in pouring beer, wine, and growlers as needed.
• Know menus and specials; complete opening, closing, and side duties.

Essential Functions

Duties & Responsibilities

• Adhere to all safety, sanitation, and alcohol beverage control policies
• Keep bar area clean and organized, including washing glassware, wiping counters, bussing dirty dishes, running bus tubs, emptying trash
• Stock and maintain side work items including glassware, pints, ice, fruit, stocked kegs, polishing glassware, replacing liquor bottles
• Help bartender greet guests, answer questions, take food & drink orders
• Accurately take, ring in, and serve orders to the customers’ specifications
• Able to use the POS systems with efficiency
• Assist the bartender in pouring beer, wine, and growlers as needed
• Knowledge of food, drink, rotating, and specials menus.
• Complete all opening, closing, and side duties
• Work as a team with your fellow co-workers and treat each other with kindness & respect

Requirements

Qualifications

• Stand for the duration of the shift with minimal breaks
